A faithful Encounter [Closed.Senka]

It was early in Yogangakure. Sozaku had woke up early this day to go for his run. He ran all the way from the village to the top of the mountain volcano. There was stationed a training ground. To prove just how destructive a fighting force the Yogan ninja were, Meiji had this training field created to show their might. No one was surprisingly killed during this project. Sozaku walked to the middle of the training ground. He was alone. Catching his breath he looked around at the plain around him as well as the village below. He smiled. He loved his village and all that inhabited it. He cracked his back and his knuckles. He was excited. Soon he would be assigned to a squad. 3 Genin. He didnt know who they were nor where they would come from. He put his hands in his pockets. Though he was standing on the top of a valcano he was not sweating. It seemed that he had become used to it.

He walked over to a pillar that stood strong. He had came here this particular morning to see if he had hit a milestone in his life. This particular pillar was made out of a black obsidian like metal. This metal was strong and not many people could brake it. It was said though that Meiji had broken one with a single back hand. Sozaku walked in front of the pillar and looked up at it. He made at fist. He starred forward. With one mighty swing he launched his fist to the pillar. The ground trembled but the pillar didnt fall. Seconds later Sozaku felt a piercing pain shoot up his arm as his fist felt like it was on fire. "Hot! Hot! Hot! HOOOOOT! He blew on his fist and hoped from foot to foot. Soon his hand felt better. He looked at the pillar. "One day im gonna be as strong as you Meiji."

Even though Sozaku failed his trial h wasnt upset. He knew that he was close to reaching his goal and that one day he would be able to do the impossible. He walked to a nearby bench and sat down. He looked around. A few more people had showed up to the training ground. They had began their daily exercise and training routine. He decided to do stuff as well. He dropped down to his hands and began doing push ups. First one arm then switching off to the other. He did this over and over again. This sight was truly something to behold.

Senka quickly made her way up the to the top of the Mountain Volcano. She looked at out at the training grounds. It was a marvelous sight to behold. Pillars of lava rising from the ground, the heat from the volcano hitting her body. She seen many people training in this area. One of which caught her eye. A man doing one armed push ups on the floor. She had seen the man around the Yotsuki manner before. His name was Sozaku and he was a special jonin. She remember requesting to join his squad. She was wondering if her request was acknowledged. She casually strolled over to him. "Sozaku-dono? I.....I....I was w-wondering i-if i was being put on your s-squad?

The girl was shy and very fragile. She couldnt help it if she couldnt talk without stuttering. She put her hands together and waited for a reply.

Sozaku was in the middle of his push ups doing his extreme training when he heard footsteps approaching him. He stopped his push ups and slowly looked up. It was a girl. Senka was her name. He had remember seeing her casually around Yotsuki Manner when he often went to go visit Meiji. Sozaku leaped up performing a back flip and landing perfectly balanced. Hey Senka! He hugged the girl tightly and then let her go. He smiled hearing her question. Well it depends. Sozaku said in a challenging tone.

He took a few steps back away from the girl and through a few punches at the air. He then brought his fists up going into a boxing stance. Are you any good with that scythe? Sozaku's eyes narrowed in on the weapon perfectly sheathed on her back. Show me what you got kid, and maybe ill let you on my squad.

Sozaku waited patiently for the girl to get ready. Then just when he thought he would have to throw the first strike she lunges at him. He speed and stance were perfect. If this would have been thrown at a fellow Genin then it would have surely gotten them. But not Sozaku. Pushing off the ground quickly he performs a backflip over the blade just as it was coming towards him. He landed a gracefully a few feet away. He smiled slightly and let out a yawn. Surely thats not all you got Senka? Come on show me what you are TRULY capable of. He motioned her to come at him. He was fully prepared for anything she was gonna throw at him.

Sozaku watched her waiting for her. He was waiting for her to strike at him and attack him. He was waiting for her to try and launch towards him. He knew that that she was now serious. As she opened her eyes he seen the sharingan swirl and lock in on him. It was then that he knew that the battle was starting. The girl launched towards him again. Something was different about her movements this time. She moved fluently using her weapon as an extension of herself. This was very masterful of her. She launched towards him swinging her scythe downards at him. This was brilliant and unique. He body went up as her blade came down. It wasnt his first time fighting someone with a scythe. Ninja in Yogangakure were prominent scythe users giving the ninja from this village the nickname "reapers".

Just as the blade was coming down to strike the man he took a step forward reaching up with his hands to grab the pole of the scythe. He grabbed it tight and launched both it and the girl across the training the field. He launched her using his supreme strength and might. He was sure this wouldnt defeat the girl but would ruffle her feathers some.

The girl recovered masterfully. She had passed the 3 tests he was putting he through. As she was running towards him he had decided to put her through the last and final test. But this test would end the fight. As she came close to him and was preparing to slash him, he performed a swift flip forward and slightly off the ground. He went high enough so that while he was flipping the scythe would pass under him. His body recovered and he landed semi perfectly on his feet, his right arm cocked back. He thrusted it forward with all his might and speed. The punch was sent directly towards her face, he hated having to punch her in the face but it was the only way. If the punch landed it would easily send the young girl flying away.

Sozaku watched as the girl flew through the air thrashing about. He had a look of strong regret on his face. He didnt mean to hit her that hard but it had happened. Atleast she passed that test. To be able to stand up to an attack like that would mean that she was stronger then he was. She proved to him that she was still within the confines of being a Genin. But this would change. Under his mentor ship she could become a truly powerful force. He walked over to her unconscious body.

He looked down at her and bent over picking her up. He through her over his shoulder. It was then that he looked around the training area. It seemed that all eyes had been on them the whole time. A few spectators gave him a thumbs up. Others looked at him with complete discontent because he hit the girl so hard. He simply turned direction and began to walk to the entrance of this place. The girl had passed his tests and now it would seem that she was resting. He was gonna take her back to the manner and decide a different day to tell her of the good news.
